Teacher’s Tips to Get 100% in CBSE Class 12 Political Science Board Exam 2022

Michelle D. Castillo May 2, 2022 3 min read

Here are some tips from a teacher to get 100% marks in the CBSE Class 12 Political Science Board Exam 2022.

CBSE Class 12 Political Council Exam 2022 is scheduled for May 24, 2022.

CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Policy Board Exam 2022: The Central Board for Secondary Education, CBSE will hold the Class 12 Political Science Board Examination on 24 May 2022. The subject deals with political systems and laws. With less than a month remaining, students are invested in preparing for the board exam, as well as other board exams. Therefore, at this stage, some expert guidance from teachers will be of great benefit to students.

Constructive learning, dedication and proper guidance are essential to good preparation and thorough review. It is not difficult to excel in this subject if students plan to diligently follow the preparation tips to obtain 100% on the political science board exam:

PART A – CONTEMPORARY GLOBAL POLITICS

  • New centers of power carry enough weight and require students to be aware of specific countries and their growth history for better understanding. Try to relate and understand the ideas behind each concept. To cover the important points, read the NCERT carefully.
  • South Asia and the contemporary world consists of many facts and events that must be memorized effectively and must be at hand.
  • Globalization deals with familiar topics. The previous year’s questionnaires proved effective for this topic. To complete the chapter faster, review the questions given in the NCERT.

PART B – POLITICS IN INDIA SINCE INDEPENDENCE

  • Parties and party systems in India require students to have a basic understanding of the current political scenario and Indian political parties. Students should also know the history of party systems.
  • Democratic resurgence deals with the democratic movements and revolutions of India. Memorize the crucial names of the pioneers and the movements they initiated. Connect the years and create flowcharts/mind maps to remember dates and events.
  • Indian politics: trends and developments: Must have prior knowledge of Indian politics and revolutions. Connect the dots, i.e. try to write a few lines about the dots you already know that are not mentioned in your textbooks. This will impress the examiner and there are chances of scoring higher points.

TIPS AND TRICKS TO REMEMBER BEFORE TAKING THE EXAM

Read to prepare:

Keep reading the NCERT book. A very careful reading of the objectives listed at the beginning will help to frame the basic questions of 4 to 6 points (long-answer type). Each chapter contains important events, personalities, leaders, brief concepts, their definition, timeline, causes and consequences, etc., used to formulate very short answer type questions. So, when reading or reviewing, make a flowchart of the respective contents of the book.

Prepare the answers:

  • Always start answers by writing an introduction. After that, in the main part, preferably write point answers. It will create a good impression.
  • Keep word and time limit in mind.
  • Practical, practical and practical – lots of dummy papers and sample papers from the previous year. This could serve as a useful resource for making the paper model and also the questions that are often asked.

Exam time strategy:

  • Stick to the 15 minute reading time & divide the writing hours carefully.
  • Write the answer with a header or highlight it, then elaborate.
  • Make sure the last 10 minutes are spent reviewing the answer sheets after completing the paper

Above all, be confident. Sleep well, eat a healthy diet and maintain your physical fitness.
